Eric Swalwell filled out his presidential campaign senior leadership team this week as the all-important Democratic Party debate season begins in late June.

During Swalwell’s campaign kickoff rally in Dublin last month, he announced Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego would serve as campaign chair.

The campaign announced East Bay political consultant Lisa Tucker will serve as chief strategist and campaign manager. She is Swalwell’s long-time campaign consultant for his congressional campaigns.

Garrick Delzell will serve as chief operating officer. He worked previously as a strategy and planning director for various environmental groups.

Alex Evans, a former Richmond councilmember and founder of Oakland’s EMC Research, was tabbed as senior strategist.

Swalwell’s former deputy chief of staff Tim Sbranti is will also serve as a senior strategist. Sbranti is also the former mayor of Dublin and recently appointed Chabot-Las Positas Community College District board trustee.

Others named to serve on the campaign include, Stephanie Berger, national finance senior advisor; Josh Richman, communications director; Caitlyn McNamee, national press secretary; Kunal Basu-Dutta, director of email strategy; Hannah Cranston, director of digital strategy; Aaron Fielding, director of scheduling; Vikki Brown, Iowa campaign chair; Eddie Alvarez, Iowa State Director.
