CONGRESS | 15TH DISTRICT | Rep. Eric Swalwell is an expert in air travel. The first-term congressman often touts his cross country flights from the East Bay to the nation’s capitol, but, when it comes to mysterious missing airliners, he reached out to a local icon.
Swalwell called Danville resident Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger for possible clues about the fate of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, according to Politico.
Sullenberger, who became a national hero in 2009 for safely landing a malfunctioning U.S. Airways plane into the Hudson River without casualties, offered his opinion on various scenarios, said Swalwell, including whether the plane crashed in the ocean or was flown to an unknown area.
“It’s much harder to ditch or land a plane in darkness. It’s very, very hard to do in daylight, as Capt. Sullenberger proved, but it’s damn near impossible I would imagine [in darkness].”
Still no indication of the missing plane. Eric needs to work harder on this and suspend his battling until it is found.

Da Plane, Da Plane—-Is Eric still looking for Da Plane instead of authoring significant legislation that will help his constituents like our current Senator, soon to be Congresswoman Ellen Corbett, has done to help consumers, children, seniors, workers, our environment, our middle class, our less fortunate……..We will be voting for the more caring Ellen Corbett.

The plane doesn't matter as much issues of concern that the Citizen has brought up.
The voters in our District will reject our current Congressman, because they don't like liars who say one thing and do another. Ellen Corbett is the clean candidate and now with the Republican in the race, she wins the primary no matter how corporate money your candidate spends. She is much more qualified too!

Mrs. Miller and I will be supporting our outstanding congressman Eric Swalwell. We can't support novices who have no idea what they are doing and would be in above their head, Ms. Corbett. We also would never support anyone who whores for the unions.
We'll be supporting a breath of fresh air, CONGRESSMAN ERIC SWALWELL 2014!

Thank you Tavaras for exposing this misguided congressman. Voting for Ellen Corbett this year and pray she wins.

Swalwell's chances of winning have disappeared faster than the plane. What matters to local voters are articles like the Citizens “Swalwell's Pay To Hire Problem” or Swalwell voting to cut off unemployment benefits to 1.7 million Americans including 200,000 veterans and then taking his pay after saying he wouldn't. District voters will vote for Ellen Corbett because this congressman has no feeling for the 95% of us who aren't rich.

Instead of looking for a plane, I wish he would author some progressive bills. Since Eric has authored no significant legislation in Washington, I'll take Ellen Corbett who has authored significant legislation to help the environment, women, consumers, seniors, children, education, etc.

Swalwell better do more for our district than look for an airplane!
Swalwell is worried and he should be, with the Republican drawing most of his anti-Stark votes. This sets up Ellen Corbett nicely as she is very popular in the District and Democratic voters don't follow their leaders the way Republicans do. She has won races against 2 men before in her run for the Senate when she was picked to finish last.
Since most of the voters in this District were in her old Senate or Assembly Districts and like her according to the votes she received, she should finish first in the primary with slightly over 40%. That means the Republican only needs 30% to come in second. Very possible. Bye Congressman. Next time author some bills that help our district like Ellen has.

11:26, Gosh, everyone seems to be a Swalwell staffer.
How many does he have… 25, 35, or is it over 80?
Don' worry, they'll be more than offset when Pete Stark gives that promised $1,000,000 boost to Corbett in the form of third party media. I'll bet he's stacking up the $100 bills right now.
BTW, my entire family, children, aunts, uncles, cousins, and inlaws are all voting for Corbett, so she is a lock in November.

There should be a law that anytime a large airliner is going to disappear we have to be given thirty days advance notice.
That way we could make sure that every single seat on the airplane had a politician in it.

Thank God Congressman Swalwell is taking steps to end the mystery and suffering. Playing a key role in bringing about a conclusion of this international tragedy.
Meanwhile, Ellen Corbett was seen today, at the March meeting of the Fremont Cat Fanciers Association, speaking about new legislation encouraging more recyclable cat litter options.
