DEMOCRATIC PARTY | East Bay Assembly members fortified their positions of power within the state Democratic Party over the weekend with the election of nearly every member of their respective slates of delegates for the party convention in May.
Seven men and seven women, according to party bylaws, were elected by Democrats in each assembly district on Saturday and Sunday. The roster of delegates, in many ways, will owe their allegiance to the assembly member who placed them on their election-winning slates.
Delegates elected last weekend are eligible to vote at the party’s convention scheduled for May 15-17 in Anaheim and in 2016. Below are the unofficial winners in each East Bay district:

My Story .
As a natural born skeptic, I spent countless time and energy researching all the available treatment options aside from what my oncologist recommended. Take this nonsense elsewhere. This was an election won mainly by slates of candidates like the ones put together by Assemblymembers Rob Bonta and Bill Quirk who then endorsed their slates and may well have financed their campaign flyers as well. I was there for the voting. Now the state elected officials like Bonta who managed the winning slates also get to name appointee delegates as well. And I'm barely mentioning the local elected officials like County Supervisor Richard Valle who were members of the winning slates.
If your're looking looking for democracy in action, don't look in the Democratic Party. Or in the Republican Party either.
I won't contribute another dime to Democrats.
