ALAMEDA LANDING SPECIAL TAX (Item 6B) On Dec. 3, the council move forward in support of special public improvement tax for the burgeoning Alameda Landing residential community near the Webster Tube. Furthermore, taxes for affordable to moderate income units will receive reduced rates, according to a staff report.

The bill for building sewers, sidewalks and roads, among other accoutrements, may cost current and future homeowners in the area $5,700 in additional taxes.
