Like others, including Reps. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) and Raúl Grijalva (D-Ariz.) and Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) attempted to speak out before being cut off by Vice President Joe Biden.

Related to my above comment, Richard J. Daley, the Chicago mayor I referred to, was a lawyer, in other words a member of that sleazy mafia that believes in free speech and the First Amendment as long as your statements don't contradict or disagree with the standard lawyers' lies and garbage.
(In fact on at least one occasion when someone at a public meeting disagreed with one of Daley's positions, Daley, and who at that time was getting somewhat older, went into such an extreme ranting raving and yelling screaming tirade, that there was considerable discussion in Chicago's newspapers as to whether engaging in that lengthy tirade might have negatively affected his health, and such as for instance possibly caused him to have a small heart attack or a mild stroke. In fact, let's ask Nate Miley, and who is also a law school graduate, in other words a finished product of that program that teaches people to be intelligent, logical, and rational, whether he thinks it is possible that a law school graduate could actually be a ranting raving yelling screaming maniac.)
One of his sons, and who later also served as Chicago's mayor, had a similar name, but a different middle name, and was Richard M. Daley.
To summarize, the best thing about politics is that so many of them are members of that extremely superior species that is generally referred to as lawyers.

Barbara Lee should not complain about being basically forcibly silenced, in other words having her mic cut off, since:
One, that was a technique the first Mayor Daley, and who was member of the Democratic Party, frequently used to silence alderman (in Chicago they refer to them as Aldermen, and instead of as Supervisors or Councilmen) who started to mention items he found strongly objectionable.
(NOTE: In other words Daley, and who was one of the most powerful members of the DP, was also one of the earliest practitioners of “safe spaces” and being politically correct, so therefore anytime anyone started to say something he considered to be “stupid” and a “waste of time,” he would then signal to one of the City Hall employees to have the alderman's mic cut off.)
and TWO, since Barbara Lee herself is a good little politically correct “liberal,” certainly she supports the right of those with the most power to forcibly silence dissenting voices.
TO SUMMARIZE, IT IS ALWAYS AMUSING WHEN THOSE WHO PRETEND TO BE REAL LIBERALS ARE SUBJECTED TO THE SAME RULES THAT THEY TRY TO APPLY TO OTHER PEOPLE.
