Alameda city manager secretly recorded meeting with two councilmbers

ALAMEDA CITY COUNCIL
Alameda City Manager Jill Keimach surreptitiously recorded a conversation with two Alameda councilmembers at a meeting that is at the center of the city’s on-going political scandal.

Over the course of the city’s nearly six-month investigation into claims by Keimach that councilmembers illegally interfered with her powers to hire a new fire chief, it was learned Keimach recorded a meeting between the three in mid-August, according to sources.
