Alameda County reps vote to impeach Trump

The House of Representatives voted along party lines to impeach President Donald Trump on Wednesday. The historic vote included support from Alameda County’s three members of Congress. Below is remarks made on the House floor in support of impeachment by Reps. Eric Swalwell, Barbara Lee, and Ro Khanna.

More is on the line than just military aid to an ally.

I'm saddened but not shocked that we are considering articles of impeachment against Trump.

I'm saddened but not shocked because Trump has routinely shown his disregard for Congress and the rule of law.
