CAGOP CONVENTION | The California Republican Convention’s Bay Area Regional Caucus hammered out a few known details to a relatively traditional audience of older men and women.
David Miller, a candidate for the party’s state chairmanship, urged for “unity” under a common flag for a “better future for the children.” He spoke at length about being a father who wants to see a better California for his children and he’s here for them and not the Republican Party. He also talked about how the party is broken and its infrastructure is a mess unlike the Democrats who, although despite differences within, will come together to work towards a common goal.
Despite the honest truth though, the man preached to a choir of largely older, long-time Republicans without more than a few young people in sight.
